The Railway Children,Edith Nesbit
Hi guys, its Ticky Tacky Tomatoes here, and today I writing my second book entries on the old name that railway children. This book is about children called Bobbie, Phyllis and Peter had a rich with amazing parents. Everything was perfect. Until one day, Their dad Charles Waterbury was sentenced to prison for selling state street secrets, although he didn't do it. While the children's mother was hiding the secret, telling them an untrue story, the kids find a way of entertaining themselves by watching trains and meeting new people. But a gentleman gives them key information on their father...
The book grabbed my attention by the cover, it looked very old-fashioned. I gave it a shot and it turned out all right. It teaches children that not only electronics help you to have fun.
I would recommend this book for the ages of 9-12 as it has some language that younger people may not understand. I think that people may have controversial feelings about this book as it is sometimes boring. But overall, It is an okay book and definitely not the worst.
